Movie and TV actress Sujata Kumar, known for her portrayal as Sridevi’s sibling in the film English Vinglish has died of cancer.
Actress cum singer Suchitra Krishnamoorthi, who is Sujata’s sister, tweeted and shared the news with the word.
Sujata has reportedly succumbed to cancer late on 19 August.
Sujata worked in several TV shows like Aapki Antara, 24 and movies like Raanjhanaa, Salaam-E-Ishq and Gori Tere Pyar Mein.
Sujata Kumar’s last rites were held at Juhu Crematorium today.
