Colors TV’s new show, Mahadev & Sons, is receiving a good response from viewers. While Shakti Anand, Sneha Wagh, and Mansi Salvi are the central characters, the new-generation leads Aasim Khan and Garvita Sadhwani are also in the spotlight, and their chemistry is already ruling hearts, even with just the first two episodes. And now, in an exclusive interview with IWMBuzz, both of them shared their first reaction when they were offered their respective roles in the new show, Mahadev & Sons.

Reacting to the positive response and praise for their chemistry as Rajji and Dheeraj, Garvita and Aasim thanked viewers and also built excitement, hinting that fans will get to see a lot in the upcoming episodes of the show.

Talking about the show, Garvita highlighted that after a long time, a ‘family drama’ show has arrived with Mahadev & Sons, and it’s not the typical family drama but one with a subtle twist, filled with emotions and an interesting narrative.

However when asked their first reactions to the roles they were offered in Mahadev & Sons questioning if they had second thoughts about it or it was always a yes for them, Aasim shared, “If I honestly say, so there is no scope of saying no if we give some good audition because we wish we get the work but in the begining I was thinking about a safe character, I was about to do some other show which was very safe for me, like the kind of characters I’m playing it was very easy but when I took my step forward for this character and I got this character and when I performed so it was a bit challenging for me because it’s a bit different character not like my previous characters so I faced a bit of challenges but I realised and even my creatives said Aasim this is what the challenge is and this is a kind of growth too and I even realised this only can show my range that if I can do this so I can do such roles also, so I’m very grateful and excited that I’m doing this show.”

On the other hand, Garvita shared her reaction, highlighting that it was always a yes from her side, “This work has chosen us, and anyway, when the script came to me, I was very excited for Rajji’s characters. And when I found out it was a Saurabh Tiwari show, I was even more excited. When I got to know it will air on Colors, I became even more excited,m because I haven’t worked on Colors, so due to the desire that you should add another feather in your cap and you should achieve something else.”

Garvita concluded by sharing that, with everything different, new, and interesting, knowing that it’s a Saurabh Tiwari show, whose shows she has been watching all these years, she couldn’t even think of saying no.
