Seasoned actor Sachin Tyagi, who is popularly known as Manish Goenka from his successful stint in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, for 9 years, starting from 2016 when the Goenka family was introduced, till the year 2025, is presently in talks for a vital role in Rajan Shahi’s show Anupamaa. Manish Goenka was the father of the lead Kartik Goenka, played by Mohsin Khan. Later, he was seen in the next generation too, wherein Harshad Chopda and Pranali Rathod took over. He was also seen in the ongoing generation, with Samridhii Shukla and Rohit Purohit.
Yes, the news that we hear is that Rajan Shahi and the channel are keen on casting Sachin Tyagi for an important character in Anupamaa, which will soon take centre stage in the show.
As we know, Sachin Tyagi is a versatile actor with noteworthy roles in shows such as Tumhari Disha, Solhah Singaar, Ramayan, Tere Sheher Main, Swaragini, etc. He was also seen as the narrator in Anupamaa: Namaste America. He has had a long association with Rajan Shahi’s banner, Director’s Kut.
Our reliable source tells us, “Sachin Tyagi’s mock test has happened, and the channel and makers are keen on casting him. However, there is no official confirmation at the time we write this story.”
