Ami Trivedi will be part of the new plot and story of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai.

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai the popular and long-running show produced by Rajan Shahi’s Director’s Kut for Star Plus is going in for a new phase, which will commence with a generation leap.

The story of the two sisters Akshara and Aarohi will be taken forward with the advent of the new man Abhimanyu, played by Harshad Chopda. Pranali Rathod and Karishma Sawant will play the roles of Akshara and Aarohi respectively.

We at IWMBuzz.com were the first to write about Harshad Chopda being part of the show. We also wrote about Pragati Mehra and Vinay Jain being roped in to play the main family members in the new family of the male lead.

We now have news of the talented actress Ami Trivedi being roped in for Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. Ami is known for her comic roles in TV shows Sajan Re Jhoot Mat Bolo, Papad Pol – Shahabuddin Rathod Ki Rangeen Duniya, Chidiya Ghar, Tedi Medi Family etc.

Ami was also in reports for being offered to play the role of Dayaben in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah.

As per a reliable source, “Ami will play a strong character, that of Harshad Chopda’s mother.”

We buzzed Ami but did not get any revert.

We reached out to Producer Rajan Shahi and the spokesperson of the channel but did not get revert.
