Sasural Genda Phool the cult drama show that aired on Star Plus and bagged huge appreciation will soon be back with a new season on Star Bharat.
The show produced by Ravi Ojha Productions has roped in actress Shagun Sharma as the lead opposite Jay Soni. As reported earlier, Ragii Khana will not be a part of the new season. The female lead will be a totally new character, by name Titlie.
While most of the cast from the original has been retained, there will be a few new additions too.
Actor Ankit Sagar who is known for his portrayal in the film Fanney Khan will in all likelihood join the cast in the new season.
As per a reliable source, “Actors Pankaj Vishnu and Ankit Sagar have been in talks to play father to the female lead. It looks as though Ankit Sagar will be locked.”
We buzzed the channel spokesperson and Producer Mitali Ojha but did not get revert.
