Prolific actress Ashlesha Sawant, who has featured in TV shows Kumkum Bhagya, Anupamaa, Jhanak, etc, will enter the Zee TV show Dilo Ki Ram Leela. Produced by Cockrow and Shaika Entertainment, the show’s narrative is poised to take a turn as Leela’s mother’s past is about to be unravelled.
The return of Harpreet, Leela’s mother’s friend, poses a big threat to Vijaya (Manasi Salvi) and her secrets being exposed. It was a heartwarming scene when Leela (Aastha Sharma) came face to face with Harpreet and learned that her mother did not want to leave them. Leela was emotional upon knowing her mother’s name for the first time.
Now, we hear that Ashlesha Sawant will enter in a crucial role, which will stir new drama and unearth secrets of the past.
When contacted, Ashlesha confirmed the news, saying, “I am working with Cockrow and Shaika Entertainment for the first time. The Producers are known for great ensemble storylines. I want to delve into this show with the vision of the producer and channel. Zee TV is doing some great concepts, and I am working with them now after Kumkum Bhagya. For the first time in my life, I play a rather strong but distressed role.”
