Baseer Ali, one of the most popular contestants of Bigg Boss 19, was evicted during Weekend Ka Vaar, which created a buzz on the internet as fans expressed disappointment with the makers, with many claiming the makers purposely removed Baseer and others calling the decision unfair. However, in an exclusive interview with IWMBuzz, Baseer opened up about backing Amaal Malik in every fight inside the Bigg Boss 19 house.
In an exclusive interview with IWMBuzz journalist Sweta Gupta, when asked about his backing Amaal Malik in his fights inside Bigg Boss 19 house and whether because of him, Baseer’s connections were ruined, he shared, “I had the most matters with Bajaj. So Amaal is my friend, and he is fighting with someone who doesn’t like me at all. He used to say he wanted to send Baseer out. Baseer is my enemy, so when my friend is fighting with my enemy, who will I support? Obviously, my friend. And I’m a person who doesn’t step back in fights; I step forward. If it’s someone else’s fight, I ask that person to step back. I choose to fight for others, I’m that kind of person.”
Further explaining his opinion, Baseer said, “So the audience feels that Baseer shouldn’t be there, but in the house, emotions are very strong, and in a small space among fifteen people, if you can stand for your friend, so it is kinda of ‘Bekar Si Baat’. Because I come from that part of life where if you don’t stand for your people, you are not friends. So I’m an emotional person, and so I went for my friends, and I have no regrets about these things.
Baseer Ali also opened up on his chemistry with Farrhana, his on-and-off relationship with Nehal, Shehbaz, Neelam, and others. You can watch the full interview below.
