There is a new development regarding the show to be headlined by popular actor Fahmaan Khan. As we know, Fahmaan Khan, who was earlier locked to play the male lead in Colors TV’s Mukkebaaz, which is now scrapped, has been confirmed to play the lead in Zee TV‘s upcoming show, to be produced by Shashi Sumeet Productions.
However, the latest development is that the show will now be produced by Director-turned-Producer Atif Khan, under his newly formed banner. Atif Khan needs no introduction; he has been a renowned Director in the TV industry, helming successful TV shows like Bade Achhe Lagte Hain, Chhathi Maiyya Ki Bitiya, Barsatein, Saru, Imlie and more.
The exclusive news that we have at IWMBuzz.com is that Atif Khan’s banner KahaniBaaz will now produce the above-mentioned Zee TV show.
Coming to the lead cast, the search for the main girl, opposite Fahmaan Khan, has been on for some time now.
We hear exclusively that Brinda Dahal, who played the leading lady in Dangal TV’s show Kahani Pehle Pyaar Ki, is presently in advanced talks for the lead role.
A little birdie tells us, “The channel and the makers are happy with Fahmaan and Brinda’s pairing. Though the official locking has not happened yet, Brinda has a high chance of bagging the role.”
We buzzed Brinda but did not get through to her.
