Actor Ishan Saxena, who has featured in TV shows Imlie, Mannat Har Khushi Paane Ki, Doree 2, etc, will now enter the Dangal TV show, Ishq Junooni, produced by Rashmi Sharma Telefilms. The show, which has Anjali Sharma and Abhishek Singh Pathania in the lead roles, centres on high-octane family drama and marital tension in the Chaudhary household. The plot currently revolves around a strict mandate from the elders that a second marriage must take place to secure an heir, which threatens to take away the protagonist’s (Ruhani’s) place in the family.
Recently, the show saw the entry of Tejaswi Singh, which caused major friction between the prime characters.
Now, Ishan will enter the show in a cameo role. He will play a hard-working student who will have high aspirations to pursue an engineering degree. However, the setbacks he faces in life will leave him broken, and he will try to commit suicide. It will be Ruhani who will meet him and motivate him to get above his setbacks and work harder towards his goals.
