Child actress Asmi Deo, who came into the limelight with her portrayal in Anupamaa, and cemented her own ground with her powerful portrayal in Zee TV’s Jagriti Ek Nayi Subah, has bagged her next. She will be playing one of the lead characters in the upcoming Sony SAB show. Yash Patnaik and Mamta Patnaik’s banner, Inspire Films, will soon come up with a youth-centric concept involving a few kids. Media reports have mentioned Bigg Boss 18 fame Avinash Mishra and Jaadu Teri Nazar fame Khushi Dubey playing the leads.
Now, we hear that Asmi Deo has been locked to play one of the central roles in the show. Asmi has proven that she is a glorious talent, capable of playing diverse roles. This concept will be yet another platform for her to prove her mettle.
Inspire Films’ last show was Dhaakad Beera on Colors TV. Yash Patnaik and Mamta Patnaik’s banner has given television successful concepts like Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi, Ek Veer Ki Ardaas Veera, Sadda Haq and others.

Sony SAB will soon come up with the launch of the medical drama, Hui Gumm Yaadein – Ek Doctor, Do Zindagiyaan, the Indian adaptation of the globally acclaimed Italian series DOC, which has been successfully remade across multiple countries. The show will see Iqbal Khan returning to the TV space. Ekta Kaul and Srishti Singh will play the leads.
