Actor Jasjot Bhasin, who was seen in the role of a cop in Dangal TV’s show STT (Special Task Force), will join the cast of Star Plus‘ show Anupamaa. Produced by Rajan Shahi and Deepa Shahi’s Shahi Productions, the show is seeing a big culinary clash in the competition between the mother-in-law, Anupamaa (Rupali Ganguly) and her son-in-law, Prem (Shivam Khajuria). As we know, Prem wants to win the competition at any cost. With him being backed by Shruti’s manipulative mastermind, Prem is going for a win. Anupamaa, on the other side, needs this win to build a home of her own.
Jasjot Bhasin, who was also seen in the web series Bekaboo, will make a special appearance in the show as the host of the competition.
With the stakes to win being high for both Prem and Anupamaa, it is now to be seen how the competition progresses for both teams. And holding the centrestage in this main drama will be Jasjot.

Anupamaa has been one of the top-rated shows for a long time. The show caters to the attention and love of housewives who have strived to make things work and start careers of their own. The show produced by Rajan Shahi has Rupali Ganguly playing the titular role of Anupamaa. Gaurav Khanna plays the male lead. Recently, the show took a generation leap after which actors Shivam Khajuria and Alisha Parveen staged their entries. However, soon, Alisha was replaced by Adrija Roy.
