Kanika Mann, the beloved television diva, returned to TV screens with Colors TV’s Naagin 7 in the role of Radhika Kothari, who will later be turned into an Icchadhari Dragon. In an exclusive interview with IWMBuzz, the actress shared her views on the show and also reacted to her getting compared with Priyanka Chahar Choudhary.
In an exclusive interview with IWMBuzz journalist Sweta Gupta, actress Kanika shared that even before hearing the narration of Naagin 7, she agreed to be a part of the show, as it’s a big franchise, and who wouldn’t want to work in such a show.
Kanika highlighted that she got excited for her part after Ekta Kapoor narrated the story and her character, after which she felt like she wanted to explore this character and the layers it has.
However, when asked her opinion as fans will compare her to Priyanka Chahar Choudhary in the show, Kanika said, “So I would like to say one thing, ‘Naagin Show Priyanka Ka Hi Hai’ and ‘Priyanka Humari Naagin Hai’, so in that there is no question of comparison as I myself am giving all credit.”
“In this show, there is one character Radhika, which I’m coming to play, just like how in a family there are different members, so similarly I’m one character in that and I will work hard from my side but I love her (Priyanka) but till there is social media, and things there is also a meme culture so these things will come along with that so with that I will consider the show is keeping it in good buzz So I will be happy because it’s a win-win situation for all of us and we all will enjoy and few things we sit together and laugh.”
