Colors TV‘s upcoming show Mounraagam – Gungunati Khamoshi, produced by Rashmi Sharma Telefilms, has seen a delay post new shocking developments. As we know, Bhavika Sharma, who was to play the protagonist of the show, has apparently opted out of the project. Media reports have been surfacing of the channel being forced to scrap all the content that has been shot with her.
While the channel and makers look for an apt replacement to play the lead, we at IWMBuzz.com hear that Mounraagam – Gungunati Khamoshi, has been pushed back in the queue, considering that the channel has a good number of new finite concepts that are already in the works.
A little birdie tells us “Mounraagam – Gungunati Khamoshi is a show that comes with a lot of expectations. With the initial hiccup of the female lead’s replacement, the channel does not want to take chances with a forced launch. Instead, the show has now been pushed back in the queue and will now look at a launch only post IPL 2026. This means that the show will not be on air till May 2026.”
As we know, Shakti Arora plays the male lead. We at IWMBuzz.com have reported exclusively that Arjun Punjj, Rajshri Rani, Jaswant Maneria, Jaswir Kaur, Neelam Vashisht and Ambika Sandhu will play vital roles in the show.
We buzzed the channel spokesperson but did not get a response till we filed the story.
Certainly, with the T20 World Cup 2026 being underway, and with IPL 2026 around the corner, there will be caution thrown at the new launches planned during this cricketing season.
