Popular faces Abrar Qazi and Priyanshi Yadav are all set to headline a big project for Zee TV, which will be a love saga. The show will be creatively helmed by Siddharttha Vankar, and produced by Gulshan Sachdeva’s banner Film&Shots Productions. Siddharttha, who will be the showrunner of the show, is known for creatively helming shows like Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon (Season 1) and Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, and is presently handling Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi.
The show is said to be the official remake of a show down South, which is what we hear. It will be a love story made on a grand level.
Actor Mithil Jain, who was last seen in shows Aankh Micholi, Shubh Laabh Aapkey Ghar Mein, has been roped in for the show.
As per a reliable source, “Mithil will play a challenging role, and will be part of the lead’s family.”
We buzzed Mithil Jain, but did not get through to him. Mithil is known for his acting prowess in shows Saraswatichandra, Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, Begusaraai etc.
We reached out to the channel spokesperson, but did not get a response till we filed the story.
Zee TV is geared up for a few big launches in the coming months. The channel has Jagadhatri, produced by Rahul Tewary Productions, all ready for a launch in November. Lakshmi, Niwas, produced by Rashmi Sharma Telefilms, is next in line for a launch. The channel has a show coming from Cockrow and Shaika Entertainment too.
