Actress Mridula Oberoi, who has featured in shows Kumkum Bhagya, Appnapan Badalte Rishton Ka Bandhan, Baghin, Yeh Hai Chahatein, etc, will soon join the cast of Star Plus‘ Jhanak. Produced by Magic Moments Motion Pictures, the show recently featured the entry of actor Adish Vaidya in the role of Ankush, the personal secretary of Indranath. We saw Ankush ordering Jhanak (Riya Sharma) to don the nurse’s garb and kill Indranath, who was admitted to the hospital, failing which he will kill Rishi (Rajveer Singh). While Jhanak battled her inner conscience, Rishi threatened Ankush not to harm Jhanak. However, Jhanak was forced to do the job she had been assigned for, as she feared more harm to Rishi. We also saw Jhanak wage a war with her father, Aniruddha, and prove her identity. However, when the truth was out, she refused to accept Aniruddha as her father.
At this juncture, we will see the entry of actress Mridula Oberoi into the picture. She will play a vital role, crucial to the central plot, is what we hear.
