Naman Shaw needs no introduction. The TV actor is currently ruling hearts by portraying the role of Adit Sexena in the Colors TV show Mangal Lakshmi alongside Deepika Singh. And now, as he steps into a new layer of his character in the upcoming sequences, in an exclusive interview with IWMBuzz, he reveals the importance Adit’s role holds for him.

In an exclusive interview with IWMBuzz journalist Sweta Gupta, Adit shared about the new twist in the show, revealing the key detail that his character will now turn even darker, and this helps him explore as an actor.

However, when asked about his experience playing Adit and how much he enjoyed playing it and the challenges he faced, Naman said, “For me, it was a game changer. For 20 years, I was just playing the ‘Good Boy’ role, I was being a Shravan Kumar. First time I played a grey shade, and I have received a lot of appreciation for my role in Mangal Lakshmi, and now it has been two years, I’m thankful to God, I’m thankful to my writers, my producers for choosing me to play this character.”

Naman also added, “And I’m very happy that in just one show I got to play so many shades of character, and as an actor I’m also exploring myself, from a nice boy, bad boy, angry husband, and now a terrorist, no terrorist but yes a country’s enemy. So what else do you want as an actor? You are exploring yourself, challenging yourself, and growing.”
