Namik Paul, who was last seen in the Zee TV show Kumkum Bhagya, returned to the screens with Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Telefilms-produced much-awaited Naagin 7 on Colors TV. And now in an exclusive interview with IWMBuzz, the actor opened up on getting the show’s offers, his character, playing a grey shade, and more.
In an exclusive interview with IWMBuzz journalist Sweta Gupta, Namik Paul spilled the beans on unknown and interesting details about his character in Naagin 7 and everything related to it.
When asked him whether it was always a yes or no when he got Naagin 7 offer because the show emphasizes the actress and also people when recall they do it by actress Namik shared that it was not the situation with him as in every story they hear it from actress point of view and also reflected on the fact that sometimes the male lead’s character take the centre and sometimes the female so he didn’t had any thoughts like that but he said yes because he wanted to work with good production house, channel and Naagin franchise itself is a brand.
Whether Namik’s character will be grey in the storyline this season, the actor said yes. He also shared that it was so exciting for him because when a character reacts to things that look relatable and real. He further explained that when a character becomes good all the time, this becomes hard to believe because people react negatively in negative situations. He concluded that Aryaman’s character is fun to play and much more believable.
Sharing about Aryaman, the actor shared that his character is not traumatized by the past event that affects him, but he finds his joy in his family, and he loves dancing.
Talking about whether Namik loves dancing, he shares that he enjoys it, but he isn’t a natural dancer; while some people bend smoothly, it’s not the case with him. He also shared that he was worried as he had to prepare a dance for the Naagin 7 launch event, but he did it comfortably.
