Patrali Chattopadhyay, who played the key negative role in Jhanak, will be a part of the main cast of Star Plus‘ upcoming show, Sairaab. Produced by Magic Moments Motion Pictures, this will be a love story exploring an intense, layered romance between two individuals from entirely different worlds. It tackles themes of age gaps, social status boundaries, and public judgment as a young musical sensation falls for an independent older woman. Actors Rohit Chandel and Madirakshi Mundle will play the leads.

Now, we hear about Patrali Chattopadhyay being roped in to play a vital role, one of the daughters-in-law in the family of Noyonika.
We buzzed Patrali, and she confirmed the news, without getting into details. Patrali has featured in poignant roles in shows Baalveer 3, Gud Se Meetha Ishq, Kya Haal Mr Panchal etc.
We reached out to the channel spokesperson but did not get a response till we filed the story.
The expectations around Sairaab have been humongous. Star Plus needs a big launch, and hopes are pinned on this new show that launched on 2 June.
