Star Plus‘ upcoming supernatural thriller, Apsara, produced by Mukta Dhond’s Malhar Content Creators, will be the banner’s next project after Divya Drishti in the above-mentioned genre. The show will have Paras Kalnawat playing the lead, as per media reports.

Now, we hear the name of young actress Anushka Merchande!! The news we have received is that Anushka was recently spotted on the set, and she has given her mock for a vital role.
A little birdie tells us, “Anushka, who was last seen in the role of the negative lead Anika in Zee TV’s Saru, is in talks for a vital role. The details of the role are not clear at the moment.”
We buzzed Anushka but did not get through to her. She has featured in TV shows Main Hoon Aparajita, Chikoo Ki Mummy Durr Kei, Pukaar along with Saru.
We reached out to the Producer and the channel spokesperson but did not get a response till we filed the story.
Mona Vasu and Adaa Khan are reported to be part of the confirmed cast as of now, along with Manish Raisinghani and Avika Gor.
We truly hope the talks materialise and we get to see Anushka in this new genre!!
