Ravi Ojha Productions, the makers of the cult comedy-drama show Sasural Genda Phool will soon be back with a new season.
We at IWMBuzz.com had reported about the big news of Ragini Khanna not being a part of the show now . The first edition aired on Star Plus, but the news season is expected to launch on Star Bharat.
We had cited that the makers were bringing in a new character, and not that of Suhana into the plot. This automatically meant that Ragini Khanna will not to be a part of the new season.
As per a reliable source, “The search for the new female lead was on for many weeks. The team had even shortlisted a few actresses to play the lead. However, there seems to be a twist in the tale.”
You can call it the popularity of Ragini, or the character, there is a strong buzz now that the makers are looking at the concept with a fresh new perspective, and look at Ragini Khanna’s inclusion in the new season.
The source also confides, “Ragini Khanna has also shown her interest in the concept.”

As per the buzz that is prominent now, the channel and makers are looking at things from this new angle!!
Only time will tell whether the loyal viewers of the show will get to see the pairing of Jay Soni and Ragini Khanna once again!!
