Sumbul Touqeer, who appeared in the Sony SAB show Itti Si Khushi in the role of Anvita, in an exclusive interview with IWMBuzz, opened up on her show going off-air, highlighting that she thinks the show deserved more time.

In an exclusive interview with IWMBuzz journalist Sweta Gupta, when asked her reaction on Itti Si Khushi going off air news and if she knew about it or it happened suddenly, Sumbul said, “For some time the rumors were circulating on the sets—some people were telling that twenty days are left, some were says one week is left while others said we are not going anywhere.”

Sumbul further added, “At the beginning, I didn’t understand what was happening, but in that period, there was acceptance that okay, something is going to happen. And then, when I finally got to know that we have around 20 days left, I felt that we deserved a little more time. Because the show is going good, it was doing well, and people were loving it, so I don’t know the exact reason why they ended the show, but we had a good run.”

Talking about her bond with co-stars, Sumbul highlighted that, fortunately, she had good co-stars and a good team. And with Itti Si Khushi too, she will miss everyone a lot from the production team to co-stars and others. The actress shared how her co-star Rajat always used to have a Coke on sets during lunch, which she also got used to drinking, which she was supposed not to. And this was because of not her calories, but she suffered health complications.
