&TV is on a roll!! The channel, which aims for a new look with differentiated concepts and a fresh outlook, recently launched the light-hearted supernatural show Gharwali Pedwali, produced by Peninsula Pictures. The channel also launched the latest version of the popular sitcom Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai 2.0, which marked Shubhangi Atre’s exit and the return of the OG Angoori Bhabhi, Shilpa Shinde.
Now, &TV is looking at the launch of a new fiction show, to be produced by the makers of the channel’s earlier show Atal, which was a drama series narrating the childhood of the former Indian Prime Minister, Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee. A semi-mythological concept, tentatively titled Hey Bhagwan, is presently in the works, produced by Aarrav Jindal’s Euphoria Productions. The banner has also bankrolled projects Yuva Sapno Ka Safar, The Pickle Factory, Zindagi Milegi Dobara, Runaway Lugaai etc.
Coming back to the upcoming show for &TV, we at IWMBuzz.com hear that popular actor Tarun Khanna is likely to play the role of Lord Shiv. The show will have an intertwining of the Swarg lok and the dharti lok.
Tarun Khanna, who is known for his mighty roles in mythological and historical projects, was seen in the role of Devraj Indra in Shiv Shakti Tap Tyaag Tandav, on Colors TV, which had a good run. He has earlier played Lord Indra for shows like RadhaKrishn, Devi Adi Parashakti, etc.
We buzzed Tarun Khanna, who said, “I am in talks, but nothing is signed.”
