Star Bharat’s new presentation Meri Saas Bhoot will be produced by Filmfarm Productions. The show has roped in seasoned actress Sushmita Mukherjee to play the role of the mother-in-law. Kajal Chauhan of Molkki fame will play the lead.
We now hear of actor Vibhav Roy being considered to play the male lead. Vibhav has featured in TV shows Gustakh Dil, Doli Armaanon Ki, Kuch Toh Hai Tere Mere Darmiyaan. He was recently seen in the web series Hello Mini.
The show will be a dramedy and will have the premise of Banaras. We hear that the makers will keep the concept very light-hearted which will be a visual treat.
As per a reliable source, “Advanced talks are presently happening with Vibhav. If all goes well, he will sign on the dotted lines.”
We buzzed Vibhav but did not get through to him.
We reached out to the Producer and channel spokesperson but did not get revert till we filed the story.
