Boyhood Productions’ upcoming show for Colors TV, titled Mukkabaaz, will be about a man who aspired to become a boxer, but could not fulfil his aspirations. Instead, he discovers that he can fulfil his dream as he sees high potential in a girl to make it big in the field of boxing, and decides to mentor her.
Media reports suggest that popular actors Harshad Chopda and Fahmaan Khan are in contention for the lead role. Harshad was last seen in Bade Acche Lagte Hain – Naya Season, while Fahmaan Khan was last seen in Iss Ishq Ka Rabb Rakha. The media report also stated that the race to bag the female lead’s role was on between young actors Eshaa Pathak and Munira Kudrati.
We now hear that senior actor Yash Tonk has been roped in to play the negative lead on the show. Yash is a prolific performer, having featured recently in shows such as Swaran Ghar, Titli, Dhruv Tara, etc.
We buzzed the actor, but did not get through to him.
Boyhood Productions, which is a reputed banner in Kolkata, forayed into Hindi TV shows and has given the TV viewing audiences concepts like Faltu, Pocket Mein Aasmaan, etc.
We reached out to the channel spokesperson, but did not get a response till we filed the story.
