Senior actress Farida Venkat of the movie Dear Zindagi fame will enter Star Plus’ popular show, Qayamat Ki Raat produced by Balaji Telefilms.
Farida has been part of the ALTBalaji series earlier, Karrle Tu Bhi Mohabbat and Broken but Beautiful.
As per sources, “Farida Venkat will play the role of Karishma Tanna’s grandmother. The family will be from Delhi and will belong to a sophisticated family owning many lavish hotels.”
We have already reported about actor Sagar Saini playing Karishma’s father.
As per the track of Qayamat Ki Raat, the leads Vivek Dahiya and Karishma Tanna will be reborn into different families.
While Gauri will belong to a rich aristocratic family, Raaj will be from a middle-class set up and will be an architect by profession.
We buzzed Farida but could not get through to her for comment.
We reached out to the channel spokesperson but did not get revert.
