Firebrand anchor Navika Kumar to head Times Navbharat HD?

Navika Kumar set to hold the editorial reins at soon to be launched Hindi News channel of Times Network

IWMBuzz.com was the first to report on Times Network launching a Hindi news channel, tentatively christened Times Navbharat HD ().

We also reported about the network’s plan to enter the Hindi business news space .

Now our credible sources tell us that Times Network’s firebrand journalist cum anchor Navika Kumar is all set to helm editorial affairs at Times Navbharat HD.

“Navika has a strong mass appeal as an anchor and she is one of the best in the business. She will lead the Hindi news venture and also conduct a special primetime 8pm debate show. It is an added responsibility to her role in Times Now currently.”

Our sources further inform that preparation for the launch is in full swing and the network is all set to go all out to promote its new venture.

Times Navbharat HD will mostly air in the second quarter, 2021.

We reached out to Navika for a confirmation on the buzz but she did not comment till the time of publishing.
