Veteran, well-known Indian television and film actress Jayati Bhatia made unfiltered revelations on several topics in a recent interview with podcaster Siddharth Kannan. However, while talking about the young TV actresses Vaishali Thakkar, Pratyusha Banerjee and Tunisha Sharma, who died in tragic deaths, she got emotional, sharing her grief and shock.
During the conversation, when the host asked about Vaishali Thakkar writing ‘I Quit’ in her suicide note, explaining this, Jayati highlighted that while Vaishali was doing the show, she didn’t write ‘I Quit’ for the show, but it was for her personal life.
Jayati then revealed that when Vaishali was working with her, she remembered her as a feisty girl. Speaking about her character and personality, Jayati called her fun-loving and energetic, someone who would demand love and attention, and she would get it too because she was that lovable.
Expressing her shock, Jayati shared she doesn’t understand how a feisty girl like Vaishali could take such an extreme step. The veteran actress shared that Vaishali committing suicide affected her and still does, wondering how she could because she has seen her. Jayati mentioned that Vaishali’s family was very lovable, and that makes her wonder what Vaishali might have gone through that made her take the extreme step, calling it disheartening.
Further, getting emotional, Jayati shared she has worked with all three actresses, Vaishali Thakkar, Pratyusha Banerjee, and Tunisha Sharma, calling them three beautiful and feisty girls, reflecting on the unseen battles in life behind the happy faces.
Adding to that, Siddharth asked her opinion on the alleged claims that in all three cases it was alleged harassment by a man. Revealing the truth, Jayati shared that she met the partners of all three actresses, and they all looked nice, which made her wonder what happened behind closed doors that led to the big step the actresses took.
Jayati then also mentioned that three of the actresses used to talk their things to people whom they wanted to, and they would suggest them too, but none of them listened.
When asked if she tried to help the actresses, Jayati revealed that everything happened after Sasural Simar Ka, but she did try to tell Pratyusha Banerjee a lot of times, especially trying to tell her if she thinks this person is okay for her because she was in a difficult relationship. But Pratyusha used to say that she can handle it.
Jayati then mentioned that she wasn’t in contact with Pratyusha much, but Pratyusha was going to get engaged, so she called her, and it was the last conversation where she asked her, ‘On which song, Jayati Di, do you want to dance?’ because she had to note it done.
