Jiya Shankar has once again made headlines after rumours surfaced that she is in a relationship with Abhishek Malhan. However, Jiya has dismissed all the reports and admitted that she is dating a mystery man. She recently shared a picture on her social media handle with a man, but did not reveal his face.
In the picture, the mystery man was seen kissing Jiya, while Jiya covered the man’s face as she shared the picture. Sharing the picture, she wrote, “Let’s leave false rumours in 2025! (sic)”, making it clear that she is not dating Abhishek Malhan
Where did the rumours start?
It all started 2 days ago with Bigg Boss OTT, when Jiya and Abhisek’s relationship rumours sparked buzz across the internet. Their stint in the Bigg Boss shot them to immense fame and popularity. After the show ended, the duo also collaborated on a music video, which only made the rumours more obvious amongst fans.
Last year, Jiya took to social media to make a strong statement that she and Abhishek are not in a relationship. She said, “Saying this for one last time to whoever it concerns! I’ve got nothing to do with Fukra Insaan or these meme pages. We shared nothing but friendship, and even that no longer exists. I don’t even follow any of these meme pages or have any knowledge of how this works (sic),” per Hindustan Times.
