Karan Jotwani has got his fans’ and colleagues’ eyes welling up as he shares the courage of his mother battling cancer. The actor took to his Instagram to share a series of pictures with his mother, where we see her in moments of vulnerability as she underwent the treatment. The disease takes a toll, affecting the patient the most, but then also the family, in and out. That being said, Karan not only shared the journey, but also a beautiful note of gratitude in the caption, thanking everyone who stayed by him and his family’s side during the tough times.

Karan Jotwani penned a heartfelt note. Stating, “Vividly remember February 2022. She was diagnosed with Cancer. First thing she entered home & mentioned she didn’t want to leave us & go. Natural for us to feel a jab, but as a family we took it as a means of an indication from the force. We didn’t dwell in the worry of it, addressed the issue, went on usually with our lives, stayed mindful and today 4 years later as we return from the follow up oncologist visit, he probably spent the least time & a widened smile, telling her she’s all good & clear.

He added, “It’s never easy, but make your immediate person going through never feel like a patient, be conversational, give them their space & allow them to be all versions of themselves. Mother was positive, she had her days of fatigue, ache & physical transformation, & she took it on like a Queen. Love you mama! This being personal, & sharing this only brings me closer to reaching out to those dealing with it, so that as a family we could reach out to those and be a system of support if ever needed or a conversation that could help in their respective journey with the disease. Thank you to those who prayed for the mothers recovery & those who were around. We’re grateful.”

It’s always heartwarming to read about a victim of the vicious disease becoming a warrior-survivor. We wish her all good health.
