A big update coming in.
As per the media reports in India Today and The Indian Express, Bengali YouTuber/author Roddur Roy who’s known for his controversial remarks in public has been arrested by the Kolkata Police in Goa for derogatory remarks against West Bengal Chief Minister, Mamata Banerjee. Reports reveal that he had earlier conducted a Facebook live that mocked Mamata Banerjee’s literary award. He was literally booked at three different police stations for his controversial statement. He was arrested in Goa and then brought to Kolkata and produced in court. Reports reveal that his bail application that was filed by his lawyer has been stayed by the Bankshall court. He is currently imprisoned in Lalbazar Police station in Kolkata.
