Kushal Punjabi, who was last seen in the TV show Ishq Mein Marjawan, committed suicide by hanging himself from a fan with a nylon rope. The incident happened at 11.10 pm at his residence at Bandra West.
According to the reports in media, a suicide note written in English has been found by the police. The suicide note states that no one is responsible for his death. He has also mentioned the distribution of his property among his family in the suicide note.
The one-and-a-half page suicide note recovered from his residence the actor has mentioned that 50 percent of his property/assets should be equally distributed among his parents and sister, remaining 50% should be given to his three-year-old son.
DCP Paramjit Singh Dahiya, in an interaction with media, revealed, “Yes, it is a case of suicide. His parents were trying to reach him since the afternoon. But his phone was unavailable. They waited till night when there was no response, they reached Kushal’s building by 10:30 pm. The actor was alone at home and that’s why they had to break open the door. His body was found hanging from the ceiling. The body has been sent for postmortem and we have filed the case.”
