While the actor is now out, with the show ending with Mini Mathur becoming the winner, the curiosity surrounding his breakup with Shivangi Joshi and the Lock Upp season 2 winner, Shreya Kalra, continues to create buzz. Now Kushal has finally broken his silence, spilling the beans on the truth and talking about his breakup and the big claims made about him.
Kushal Clarifies the Truth Behind Shreya Kalra’s Claims
During a recent interview with Pinkvilla, the host asked him if he knew Shreya in the capacity claimed by Shreya Kalra. Kushal then revealed he had met Shreya just once in his lifetime.
Speaking up about his breakup with Shivangi Joshi, Kushal further revealed that claims were made that it happened because of Shreya. But when he met Shreya for the first time on the first day of the Barsatein promo shoot, at that time he had not yet met Shivangi.
Kushal’s Clarification On His Message To Shreya
Kushal shared that it might have happened that Shreya messaged him, like thanking him and all, and he texted her back that she has a good following and that she should do really good stuff. This was not worth it, and she should never do that. And he wished her good luck for her journey ahead.
The Barsatein actor further added that after his first and last message, he had no conversation with Shreya, as he didn’t know her name either. He also explained that it’s not that he doesn’t know her name; he’s just bad at remembering names.
Kushal concluded by saying he had heard Shreya’s claims that he was flirting with her, and that his breakup with Shivangi Joshi happened because of her. He shared that he wanted to clarify this with Shreya, but since then he has not met her; he wishes her all the best, and there is no bad blood.
