Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, the cult Star Plus show from Ektaa Kapoor’s banner Balaji Telefilms, has been ruling the TRP charts, with immaculate ratings. The return of the OGs – Smriti Irani as Tulsi Virani, Amar Upadhyay as Mihir Virani, and the entire Virani family, has kept viewers glued to the show. The fresh news from the sets of the show has created a wave of excitement and curiosity recently. Ektaa Kapoor will soon be coming up with a spin-off of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, titled Kyunki Rishton Ke Bhi Roop Badalte Hain, which will centre around the life and journey of Vrinda and Angad, played by Tanisha Mehta and Rohit Suchanti.
Media reports have been upbeat about the spin-off being in the works, and to soon launch at the late-night slot of 11 PM, as part of a new strategy planned by the channel and makers.
Well, while the euphoria around the spin-off mounts, we at IWMBuzz.com have exclusive news of the new cast to come on board the new show.
We hear that young actor Kushagre Dua, who was in Ektaa Kapoor’s Naagin 7, and later bagged the Sun Neo show Beendani 2.0 as the lead, has been roped in to play the negative lead in the show. Beendani 2.0 is all set to end, and again, IWMBuzz.com had reported about the same a few days back.
Joining Kushagre in the spin-off will be actor Pardeep Singh Toor, who is part of the Colors TV show Tu Juliet Jatt Di.
We buzzed the actors, but did not get through to them.
