Shilpa Shinde’s bold confession about her decade-old matter has sparked conversations. During a chat with Bharti Singh and Harssh Limbachiyaa’s podcast, Shilpa confessed that the allegations she made against the producer of the show Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hain were false. After this, Hina Khan indirectly called out Shilpa for playing the woman card, which has once again sparked an online war between Hina and Shilpa’s fandoms. And now filmmaker Lakshmi R Iyer calls out Shilpa, saying her false allegations deserve consequences.
Lakshmi, on her Instagram, posted a photo saying that putting false sexual harassment allegations isn’t a mistake, as this can ruin a whole life. She also emphasized that if there are punishments for wrong things, there should be consequences for misusing the law, asking to hold false accusers accountable.
The post reads, “A false sexual harassment allegation is not a mistake. It can destroy a life.
If there are consequences for wrongdoing, shouldn’t there be consequences for knowingly misusing the law?
Protect genuine survivors. Hold false accusers accountable.
Justice has no gender. Truth has no gender. Accountability should have none either.”

In the caption, Lakshmi said it clearly that accountability has no gender and there should be consequences for such false allegations: “Accountability Has No Gender. Irrespective of gender, false allegations deserve consequences.”
