Finally, the cameras will start to roll in Mumbai after the severe outbreak of the pandemic COVID-19!!

Yes, we are extremely happy to tell you that the leading GECs will apparently resume shoot of its topline shows by next week.

This only means that the loyal fans of Indian TV shows will get to watch new content very soon!!

A reliable source tells us, “All the major GECs will go on the floor with their main TRP-strong shows by mid-next week. Though the final date is yet to be arrived at, the dates being worked out are 23 June or 24 June.”

As we have already briefed our readers, the channels will start the shoot of their prime band shows which will be their top 4 or 5 shows and will watch for the viewers’ reactions and also for the pandemic-struck Mumbai to get better in the number of cases.

The shows going on floor will be strictly abiding by the SOPs given out by the Maharashtra Government and will work their tracks as per the directives involved.

We buzzed Gaurav Banerjee, VP and Content Head, Star Plus, and spokespersons of other prominent GEC channels (Zee TV, Colors) but got no revert.
