The post not only says that the couple is heading for divorce but also puts up a fake screenshot of the actress writing about her divorce. Expressing her disappointment, Mahhi in the comments asked not to spread fake news and warned of taking legal action against this: “Don’t post false narratives. ill take legal action against this.”
The internet was abuzz about Mahhi and Jay’s separation. As per a report by Hindustan Times, the couple proceeded with the divorce a few months back, around July or August 2025, and the decision has been made. Also, regarding the custody of the child, it has been settled, and the couple had been living separately before their divorce.
