Breast cancer cases are rising in India, and now, after Hina Khan, who was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer but is actively recovering after the treatment, MasterChef winner Pankaj Bhadouria earlier revealed her breast cancer diagnosis in a shocking emotional post.
The 55-year-old chef has been admitted to the hospital again amid her cancer battle. Pankaj, on July 24, shared a post from the hospital bed, talking about the support system in her life and how it’s not any one person but her family members. The chef reflected on the strength that comes with family’s support and emotionally wrote in the caption, “Not the family picture we planned, but perhaps one of the most meaningful.
Together through every chapter, every challenge, every little victory.”
In the picture, Pankaj is seen lying on the hospital bed while a few of her family members were present in the room, with her son resting and others indulging in daily activities.
The chef appeared fine, and it seems to be a routine hospitalization as she didn’t mention anything serious.
In May 2026, Pankaj, the winner of MasterChef India Season 1, shared on her social media about her diagnosis with breast cancer on May 28. The chef revealed, “I have been diagnosed with Breast Cancer. Need your prayers and support.”
She also said in her stories at that time, “I just wanted to share with you all that I have been diagnosed with breast cancer. Since all of you are like an extended family to me, I wanted to share this with you personally. Right now, I truly need your prayers and support. As they say, prayers work miracles. So please keep me in your prayers.”
