Parineeta Borthakur, who is presently seen in the role of Chandrika Singh Chauhan in Zee TV’s Vasudha, has imbibed many learnings from her teachers, family and well-wishers to become what she is today. On the occasion of Teacher’s Day today, 5 September, Parineeta showers all her love on her mother, who has been the most special teacher for her.
Says Parineeta, “My mother has been a teacher for me for life. She is the most special person today.”
Parineeta says that she has learnt a lot from many teachers. “I have learnt a lot from my paternal and maternal grandfathers. I have inherited my spiritual inclination from my maternal grandfather. My paternal grandfather taught me to be fearless. He lived like a king till the age of 94. All these learnings have shaped me and made me what I am.”
To the younger generation, Parineeta would like to say this. “It is very important to have patience. This is what the new generation needs to follow. One needs to understand that whatever happens, happens for the best. If you believe in that, you tend to realise that whatever happens, happens for the best only.”
Celebrating Teachers’ Day serves to reinforce the esteemed position that teachers hold in Indian culture, where they are often regarded with the same reverence as parents and spiritual guides (gurus). These celebrations help to strengthen the relationship between the people who guide us, fostering an environment of mutual respect and promoting a culture of learning.
Happy Teacher’s Day to all!!
