The love story of Rudra in Ishqbaaaz and Dil Boley Oberoi will get a new angle with a new girl being introduced. Read for details.

It’s another new day and we hope you all have woken up with rejevunated energies!! Now that you are up and running, are you all ready to digest a shocker of a news?

Well, indeed it will be a heart break for many!!

The news comes from the shows Ishqbaaaz and Dil Boley Oberoi, produced by 4 Lions Films for Star Plus.

It’s about the channel and production deciding to bring in a new girl for Rudra aka Leenesh Mattoo, and this will come at the extent of Neha Lakshmi Iyer aka Saumya’s exit!!

Are you surprised?

As per sources, “Neha has been notified of the big decision and she is on the way out of Ishqbaaaz and the spin-off, Dil Boley Oberoi. The reason for this being that the creative think-tank feel that ‘Rumya’ as a Jodi has not worked, and it will rather be wise to kick-start a new love story for Rudra with a fresh character.”

We hear that Neha will shoot for her culmination episodes over the next week. The hunt for the new girl opposite Rudra is presently on with a hope that the new love story will be magical to watch.

For the uninitiated, Vrushika Mehta who was originally cast opposite the other Oberoi brother Kunal Jaisingh was ousted from the show owing to the track not working and also due to the over indulgence of Vrushika’s fans on social networking. Shrenu Parikh went on to bag the prized role opposite Omkara later on.

We buzzed Neha Lakshmi Iyer, but did not get any response.

We also reached out to Producer Gul Khan, but received no revert.

What are your thoughts on this? Will you miss Rudra- Saumya Jodi? Or are you ready to witness the new love story of Rudra?
