Television artist Payal Rohatgi, who is very vocal about her thoughts, was arrested by Rajasthan police on Sunday over her controversial video on freedom fighter Motilal Nehru.
The complaint was filed by Youth Congress leader Charmesh Sharma and the case was registered under sections 66 and 67 of the IT Act. The news was confirmed via her official Twitter account.
Now, Payal’s partner Sangram Singh, who is also a well-known personality, took to social media and requested PM Narendra Modi to look into the matter.
