Popular actress Rakhi Vijan, who is known for her role of Sweety Mathur in the popular Indian sitcom Hum Paanch, is all set to return to the comedy genre.
The beauty, who is currently part of Star Plus’ Meri Durga, has bagged SAB TV’s Sajan Re Jhoot Mat Bolo season 2.
As per a reliable source, “Rakhi will have similar traits of her popular character Sweety in the show. As Monica Manipal she will be a beauty without brains.”
After playing negative roles in shows like Gangaa and Durga, Rakhi will be seen taking audience on a laughter ride.
The show will also see veteran actor Tiku Talsania. Hussain Kuwajerwala and Parvati Vaze playing main leads.
