Tunisha Sharma’s tragic suicide on the sets of the Sony SAB show Alibaba: Dastaan-E-Kabul has urged one and all in the entertainment fraternity to care for their mental health and talk to someone close to them in times of stress. As we know, the co-star of Tunisha, Sheezan Khan has been arrested and interrogated by the police for the same.
While these tragic developments have engulfed the TV industry in pain and sorrow over the last week, there is a saying that ‘The show must go on’. Well, with Alibaba: Dastaan-E-Kabul needing immediate changes in its lead cast, the channel and production house (Peninsula Pictures) have roped in Abhishek Nigam to play the lead role in the show, as per reports.
As per a news in English Jagran, Abhishek Nigam is all set to replace Sheezan in the lead role of Alibaba.
The sad coincidence is that Abhishek and Tunisha were very good friends. They had worked together in the music video Heeriye.
It is now to be seen who will replace Tunisha Sharma as Mariam on the show.
