Talented actor Khalid Siddiqui who was last seen in Piyaa Albela has bagged yet another prized role on TV!!
Khalid will be part of Star Plus’ upcoming venture produced by Somersault.
News is out in media about Somersault making a Muslim backdrop series titled Maryam which will have Avinash Mishra, Sheena Bajaj, Paras Kalnawat and Priyanka Kandwal in lead roles.
We now hear of Khalid being roped in to the cast to play a major role.
As we know, Khalid was last seen on Star Plus in Saath Nibhana Saathiya as the new man in Gopi’s life. Khalid bagged all limelight for his role in Dream Girl on Life OK.
A credible source tells us, “Khalid will be playing the father of the two female leads. It will be a strong and notable character.”
We buzzed Khalid, but could not get through to him.
