Sony TV’s Kaun Banega Crorepati is hugely popular amongst the audience and they await its episode eagerly. Amitabh Bachchan has hosted several seasons and a brand for the show, but now it seems like he won’t host the upcoming season. Know everything here in detail.
Kaun Banega Crorepati 17 Host: Amitabh Bachchan has been the host of KBC since the start in 2000, except for the third season, which was hosted by Shah Rukh Khan.
But this year, Amitabh Bachchan will not host the 17th season of Kaun Banega Crorepati but Salman Khan will.
As per a recent report in Bollywood Hungama, it is believed that Salman Khan is in talks with the makers of KBC and if everything goes well he will take over to host from 17th Season.
The source said, ‘Salman Khan is the king of the small screen, and the best face to replace Amitabh Bachchan is him, as he also has a strong connection with the audience in the smaller centres. Earlier, Shah Rukh Khan also hosted KBC, and if everything goes well, Salman will be the newest to take the television sets by storm’.
The insider also claimed that Amitabh Bachchan is most likely to quit KBC due to personal reasons.
For information, Sony TV announced Kaun Banega Crorepati 17 with a promo video featuring Amitabh Bachchan on 4th April. He revealed that the registrations are open too. Although the premiere date has not been revealed, it is expected to be aired in August.
Amitabh Bachchan has hosted 16 seasons from 2000 since KBC aired except for the third season which was hosted by Shah Rukh Khan.
If Salman Khan replaces Mr. Bachchan it will be interesting to see the audience’s reaction.
