There is good news for &TV show, Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain! fans. Saumya Tandon will soon return from her pregnancy break.
Her on-screen husband confirmed the same, saying, “Anita will be back on screen by next week. We have already started shooting with her.“
“I really like Saumya as an artist, she is a swell gal. We both love languages (Hindi and Urdu), which reflects in our on-air ornamental dialogues. Sometimes, when she has issues with certain words, she turns to me for help,” added Aashif.
Here Aashif admitted, “Saumya’s absence did affect the creative process, as originally the plot was premised on two men eyeing their neighbouring bhabhis. Luckily though, the ratings were not affected for we had shot a lot with her before she took leave. But yes, the scenes were less.”
According to our source, Saumya will indeed return very soon. Right now she is negotiating with the production house (Edit 11) on certain terms and conditions. “The other cast members want her back ASAP, as that will get the pressure off them as well,“ added our khabru.
Saumya’s case differs from Disha Vakhani’s, who too had taken a pregnancy break from Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, but has not yet returned. Having waited long enough, the makers are now looking at possible replacements.
Producer Benaifer Kohli, while speaking to us a while back, had praised Saumya’s professionalism and had expressed full confidence that she would be back on set.
We tried to get in touch with Saumya and Benaifer, but could not get through to them.
