Shadaab, Carl and Faraz join the cast of Star Bharat’s Quick Silver Azad.

Acclaimed writer Anirudh Pathak, who has penned down popular TV shows in his career, has turned producer under the banner Writers Galaxy Studios.

We already reported about his upcoming project on freedom fighter Chandra Shekhar Azad tentatively named Quick Silver Azad.

IndianWikiMedia exclusively reported about Dev Joshi portraying the titular role of Chandra Shekhar Azad.

Now, we hear that Shadaab Khan (Raja Ki Aayegi Baraat, M.A. Pass), Carl A. Harte (known for her role of FBI Agent in Kamal Hassan movie Vishwaroopam) and Faraz Khan (Ship of Theseus and Patiala House) have also joined the ensemble cast.

As per a reliable source, “Shadaab will play the role of Batukeshwar Dutt, who was an Indian revolutionary and freedom fighter. He is best known for having exploded a few bombs, along with Bhagat Singh, in the Central Legislative Assembly. While Carl A. Harte will enact the character of John Nott-Bower, a Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis, who was awarded the King’s Police Medal for bravery after he confronted Chandrashekhar Azad. And Faraz Khan, will be seen playing a cop.”

As per reports in media, theatre actor, Karan Sharma will play the elder Chandra Shekhar Azad. Aakash Dahiya will be Bhagat Singh, Akash Sinha will be playing Pandit Ram Prasad Bismil, Santanu Ghatak will play Rajendranath Ghatak and American actor Zachary Coffin will play British evil officer.

We buzzed, Shadaab, Carl and Faraz, however they remained unavailable for comment.
