Internet and TV personality Shiv Thakare has emerged as the winner of the first-ever season of Colors TV and JioHotstar’s new reality show ‘The 50’. As he won the show, he lifted the beautiful Lion trophy and a hefty prize of 50 lakhs during the grand finale. And as per the show’s unique format, the prize money was awarded to one of Shiv’s registered followers.
A person named Sitaram Pralhad Aghav was declared Shiv’s number one fan, and he walked back home with the hefty amount. On the other hand, Mr. Faisu ended up as the first runner-up, and though he might not have won, he has won hearts, as the internet is all praises for him. Shiv secured his spot as the winner among the top five contenders alongside finalists Krishna Shroff, Faisal Shaikh (Mr. Faisu), Rajat Dalal, and Immortal Kaka.
In contrast, during the semi-final, Shiv Thakare faces neck-and-neck competition with other contestants such as Rajat Dalal, Mr. Faisu, Archana Gautam, Manisha Rani, Nehal Chudasama, Ridhi Dogra, Urvashi Dholakia, Kaka, and Krishna Shroff. However, Prince Narula won a ticket to the final battle, and he won hearts as he gave it to Shiv Thakare and Prince. This gesture is receiving appreciation.
The 50 started on February 1 with 50 contestants entering from different walks of life, from YouTubers, actors, to influencers, and from 50 it narrowed to top 12 including Prince Narula, Faisal Shaikh, Rajat Dalal, Shiv Thakare, Vikrant Singh Rajpoot, Ridhi Dogra, Manisha Rani, Urvashi Dholakia, Ravinder Singh, Krishna Shroff, Nehal Chudasama and Archana Gautam.
