An emotional phase is going on for Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim’s fans. Recently, Shoaib gave a big and quite shocking news through his vlog, a tennis ball-sized tumour has been found in the left side of his wife, actress Dipika Kakar’s liver. Now he has given another update on this health scare in his new vlog.
Shoaib said that the surgery has not been done yet, but Deepika had to be admitted to the hospital after a high fever. Both are currently in Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai. Shoaib said in the vlog, ‘Dipika is admitted. Surgery has not been done yet. A PET scan has been done, waiting for the report.’
He further explained that when Dipika gradually stopped breastfeeding her baby Ruhaan, she started having a lot of pain from that time. This pain was so intense that it was accompanied by high-grade fever, and the temperature went up to 103.9. After giving medicines, the fever reduced for some time, but came back again.
Dipika had to be admitted to the hospital on 25 May because her fever was continuously high. Shoaib also said that Dipika has not had a fever since 26th May, but some tests were pending due to chest congestion and a blocked nose.
On 21st May, Dipika’s PET scan was finally completed, and now everyone is waiting for the report. Shoaib clarified, ‘There is a tumour. It has to be removed. Surgery is mandatory. Doctors are saying that surgery can be planned by next week, but only after the condition is stable.’
Shoaib also talked about Ruhaan. He said that after Dipika stopped breastfeeding, Ruhaan cried one day, but now he is gradually adjusting. ‘Sometimes he asks for milk, but then he understands that Dipika’s condition is not right,’ Shoaib said in an emotional tone.
At the end of the vlog, Shoaib thanked all the fans for their prayers and said that he is hopeful that Dipika will get well soon.
