Sony show, Tara From Satara, which currently airs at 10.30, will soon have a time slot change.

With ratings guzzler KBC wrapping up, the channel is rejigging its FPC (programming sched). Jennifer Winget starrer Beyhadh 2 will air from 2nd Dec at the super prime slot of 9, followed by Tara, which has been moved an hour ahead. Recently started Varun Badola headlined Mere Dad Ki Dulhan remains unchanged at 10 pm.

Sources add that the channel is hopeful that coming on the heels of Beyhadh might add to the numbers of Tara as well, which in turn might give ballast to Mere Dad Ki Dulhan.

Sony business head Ashish Gowalkar confirmed the same to IWMBuzz.com on the sidelines of the Beyhadh 2 presser.

He also informed us that Tara, which is not your normal daily, rather a sneak preview into the world of reality shows, is a limited series, so will wrap up in due course of time.

Talking about Beyhadh, he says, “It will have to rise up to enter the big rating boots of KBC. But we are confident, for it has been a marquee show. Earlier, you had seen the love and obsession of Maya (Jennifer). Now you will see the extreme side of hatred as well, so it remains true to the franchise.”

Tara From Satara producer Hemant Ruparel (Frames) says, “A time slot change will not be a major issue, for the story remains the same, and so far we are doing good.”

When asked about the limited duration, Hemant said, “We had always begun as a limited series. As for how soon will the end come, we have yet to take a call on it.”
