The daily soap has built a loyal fanbase since its debut. However, as the channel looks to revamp its fiction line-up alongside similar time-jump rumors surrounding Anupamaa, media buzz suggests that Udne Ki Aasha is officially heading toward a major generation leap.
According to reports, with the generation leap in Udne Ki Aasha, lead actor Kanwar Dhillon will remain in the show and appear as Sachin Deshmukh’s son. In contrast, lead actress Neha Harsora will exit the show, paving the way for a new actress.
It remains unconfirmed which other members of the Deshmukh family will stay back or be recast once the next generation takes center stage.
